Dontcha just love Halloween???

I took 'Frodo' trick-or-treating tonight. We went with some other neighborhood kids and it was hilarious to watch the kiddos run from house to house. One of the dads jumped into the road to slow down a speeding car. (We have a constant problem on our street with speeders anyhow, so I think it was more of a release of months of pent up anger at speeders.)

Overall, the kids were pretty darn good with their *thank yous* (Phew!) Dad stayed home and handed out candy until he had to leave for work. Frodo and I got back and our candy bowl was nearly empty! (Mental note to self: buy more candy next year. Three bags didn't cut it this year.) Frodo has plenty of candy to eat. It can go in the bowl on the counter that still has candy in it from February's Valentine's Day party at school.... Just pass me some of the chocolate please!

Very cool.... I've been reading a few blogs of friends I know and thought I'd give it a whirl myself. (How many times have you heard that line?!?!?)
