Blah, blah, blah....

Absent, blah, busy, blah, time flies, blah, sick, blah blah....

Whatever. I'm not even going to bore you with what I've been up to or anything along those lines. I'm just going to jump into a rant.

I was driving home from work today and listening to the radio. There was an interview going on with the author of this article. I was shocked. I was shocked that something like this was going on. But I was more shocked that it had been around for so long.... I automatically assumed this was a Bush administration creation. I was surprised it existed before the current administration. One of the creepiest lines in there for me was this:

“He urged InfraGard members to contact the FBI if they “note suspicious activity or an unusual event.” And he said they could sic the FBI on “disgruntled employees who will use knowledge gained on the job against their employers.”

Wow. That's quite a bit of power.

It reminds me of the stories of the Germans who turned their Jewish neighbors in to the SS.

I'm sounding a bit *deep thinking*, aren't I? I have other rants to tackle, so watch out! (And no, I'm not PMSing.)

No wonder you were shocked. It sounds like a joke. But It also sounds like just the sort of thing that would take off in a Bush Era Administration. I've never heard of it either. and it's terrifying.
